SOCIAL MEDIA EDITOR II (1-year contract, renewable)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative social media content (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) aligned with Oxfam’s mission and campaigns.
- Produce short-form videos (Instagram Reels, Facebook, YouTube Shorts) and static graphics optimized for each platform.
- Maintain Oxfam HK’s social media channels, ensuring consistent branding and tone.
- Plan and implement fundraising/awareness campaigns tied to trends, festivals, and Oxfam’s initiatives.
- Monitor performance metrics (engagement, conversions) using tools like Meta Business Suite or Google Analytics.
- Handle ad hoc tasks assigned by Department/Unit head as required.
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above in creative arts & multimedia, IT / digital Marketing, communications, journalism, or related field with at least 3 working experiences of relevant experience in social media/content creation.Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Social Media Editor.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Canva for video/graphic design andfamiliarity with Hong Kong social media platforms
- Solid understanding of branding and digital storytelling.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with internal staff, external partners, volunteers, and media contacts.
- Excellent command in spoken and written English & Chinese including Putonghua.
- Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and Chinese word processing.
- Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
