Oxfam Musical Marathon 2026 - Competition Session Online Fundraising Page
Oxfam Musical Marathon is Oxfam Hong Kong (OHK) ’s annual music fundraising event. This year holds special significance as it coincides with the 50th anniversary of OHK. Through the power of music, we aim to connect the past, present, and future, and continue working together towards a world without poverty. Under the theme "Music for Change: Creating a World Without Poverty", we invite schools, organisations, and individuals to join us on 21 and 22 March. Participants will showcase their musical talents by performing Chinese and Western musical instruments or singing in a relay format, while raising funds to support Oxfam’s poverty alleviation programmes in Hong Kong and around the world. In addition to the popular performance session, this year's event will also feature a special competition session. Participants are encouraged to take part as soloists, ensembles, or solo vocalists, showcasing their musical skills and creativity. Contestants will compete for multiple awards, with winners chosen by a panel of professional judges. An online fundraising page has been set up on behalf of each shortlisted participant or team to solicit donations. Minimum fundraising requirement for finalists: Individual: HK$500 Team: HK$1,000 *Students on Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) and recommended by their school may be exempted from this minimum fundraising requirement
