Gender Equality and Social Inclusion

Gender Equality and Social Inclusion

 About our work

Despite significant social and economic development in Mainland China since the reform and opening up, gender inequality and gender-based violence persist. Additionally, individuals with disabilities continue to face unequal opportunities for development. Oxfam Hong Kong adopts an integrated approach in designing and implementing its projects, prioritising gender equality and the needs of vulnerable groups. We address gender-based violence, empower women and vulnerable populations, and promote social equality and inclusion through direct services, community development, public education, and advocacy.
