Climate Change Adaptation

 About our work

China is one of the countries severely affected by climate change, with smallholder farmers and herders—whose economic income relies heavily on natural resources—being the most vulnerable groups. Oxfam Hong Kong and its partners assist communities in enhancing the climate resilience of their agricultural and livestock practices, reducing disaster risk through preparedness measures and drills, building basic infrastructure, promoting diversified rural livelihoods, and enhancing women's capacity. We take a holistic approach to promoting climate adaptation and sustainable development, especially for the remote communities.
