PROJECT COORDINATOR (3-year contract)
 

Project Coordinator is a member of China Programme Unit. His or her main job duties are as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the project funded by the European Union (EU).
• Communicate with the EU and coordinate reporting requirements.
• Coordinate the implementation of the EU project with OHK programme teams and partners in the Chinese Mainland.
• Develop and strengthen the monitoring and evaluation mechanism for the EU project, and coordinate with co-applicants and civil society organisations (CSOs) in its implementation.
• Systematize and document relevant experiences in institutional fundraising project.

Requirements:

• Degree holder with at least 5 years of work experience in a development organization.
• Good understanding of women’s development and CSOs development, with sound knowledge of the current development status of CSOs in the Chinese Mainland.
• Experience in implementing or managing relevant international cooperation projects.
• Excellent planning, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is a must.
• Proficiency in using MS Office, as well as Chinese and English word processing.
• Identification with Oxfam’s mission and philosophy is a must.
