Statement on fake Oxfam website in mainland China

Oxfam Hong Kong was recently notified about a fake Oxfam website in mainland China which promotes fraudulent fundraising and investment activities. We have already reported the case to the web hosting company. Oxfam urges the public to beware of hoax sites to avoid online scams.

Oxfam has not carried out such activities through any other website in the Mainland, nor has it authorised anyone or any organisation to raise funds there. These activities are in no way associated with Oxfam.

Official Oxfam websites and social media accounts in the Mainland are listed below. Any sites beyond this list do not represent Oxfam.
