Bank of China supports Oxfam by donating limited edition of commemorative MOP banknotes
Bank of China Macau Branch has generously donated three different types of the limited edition of “Commemorative MOP Banknotes in Celebration of the Centenary of Bank of China” to Oxfam in support of its poverty alleviation, emergency response, advocacy and education. The commemorative banknotes are now open for public subscription.
The front side of the commemorative banknote is tinted in gold, featuring Bank of China Tower designed by renowned architect I.M. Pei, against a background of the Great Wall and news coverage on the bank’s incorporation. The back side features a lotus in an ink and wash painting style.
The commemorative banknotes, each with a face value of MOP100, are now offered for open subscription in limited quantity. The worth of the banknotes goes beyond its face value – not only valuable as collectable items, but also priceless for helping poor people work their ways towards wellbeing.

3-in-1 Uncut Banknotes: HKD/MOP 3,800 per set
30-in-1 Uncut Banknotes: HKD/MOP 30,800 per set
Each subscriber can subscribe to a maximum quantity of 5 sets per type. The commemorative banknotes are limited and will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.
